단편선은 한국의 음악가이다.

Danpyunsun, a.k.a. Hoegidong Danpyunsun, is a Korean musician.

1986년 서울에서 태어났다.

He was born in Seoul in 1986.

2004년 처음으로 클럽에서 공연하기 시작했다. 그리고 2006년부터는 회기동 단편선이라는 이름의 1인 포크 프로젝트로 활동하기 시작했다.

Since 2004, he has been performing in live clubs, and started his one-piece folk music project under the name of “Hoegidong Danpyunsun” in 2006.

한국의 옛 가요와 영미 언더그라운드 포크, 인디록의 영향을 받았으며 그 외 다양한 장르의 음악에 관심을 가지고 있다.

His music has been inspired mainly by old Korean pop-songs, and, In addition, influenced by the British and American indie rock and underground folk music. He also has an interest in music of other various genres.

음악가 외에도 활동가, 자유기고가로도 활동하고 있다. 특히 2010년부터는 자립음악생산조합의 운영위원으로 활동하고 있다.

He is active not only as musician but as activist and free-lance writer. He has been working as a steering committee member of the “JARIP” Co-op (A cooperation that consists of underground Korean musicians.) from 2010.
